PCB Fishing Rodeo

In 2022, the PCB Fishing Rodeo was brought to life by fishermen, for fishermen! With the financial support of local business partners, the Rodeo began to grow. In 2025, BCARA participated in the event as a grassroots fundraiser. Following that success, BCARA and the PCB Fishing Rodeo decided to officially merge in 2026.

The Rodeo has now become BCARA’s premier fundraising initiative. Our focus is to host a successful, fun-filled event in October for families and friends. In conjunction with the Panama City Beach Seafood Festival, live music, and the kids’ fishing clinic, we plan to highlight the sponsors who support our Rodeo and our mission. Reefs are a crucial part of our marine environment providing desperately needed habitat in our Gulf waters. As this Rodeo grows, so does the Bay County Artificial Reef Association and our ability to deploy more artificial marine habitat. 

Proceeds from this event go toward building artificial reefs and providing marine education funding to our local schools. This event is made possible by our wonderful community and sponsors.
